D. Dale Fairclough is the Founder and Chief Strategist at Achieve Coaching & Consulting, where he works with capable, mid-career professionals—especially engineers, technical leaders, and technical entrepreneurs—who need clarity before committing to their next move.
He advises founders, businesses, and technical teams on strategy, project development, and complex decision-making. His mission is simple: to help clients move From Stuck to Strategic™ by making clear, defensible decisions—and moving from analysis to decision to action with discipline and judgment.
With more than 28 years of leadership experience across industrial gases, manufacturing, and the energy sector, Dale brings deep technical and project expertise. He has played key roles in the development of large-scale projects, giving him first-hand experience navigating complexity, risk, and long-term outcomes.
A Certified Professional Coach (CPC), Certified Neurodiversity Coach, licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), and Project Management Professional (PMP®), Dale blends engineering precision with strategic coaching. His approach is structured, thoughtful, and grounded—helping clients cut through uncertainty, weigh tradeoffs, and choose a sound path forward.
Dale holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and certificates in business and leadership from Cornell University. He is based in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, where he enjoys family life and invests in his community through adult literacy and youth-focused initiatives.

Founded in 2010, Achieve Coaching & Consulting began with a clear mission: to help individuals define and achieve meaningful life and career goals. In the early years, our focus was guiding clients through major transitions with an emphasis on career clarity, structure, and practical strategy.
